These are the old cupboards at Allanburg Community Centre, where we ran our food program. Learning how to can and preserve what was local and abundant was a game changer for me. It was literally the difference between feeling in control of my own life, and feeling manipulated. I had no idea how many decisions I could make that could change my reality. 

And so far, to date, with all the changes I've made now, eating healthy is still the most important decision I make - every single day.
If you'd like to join us, Natalina and I are going to show you around a kitchen, in a food hub, on a farm. Natalina used to cook in our Food Program at Allanburg actually. She's an amazing person and an incredible cook. 
Oh and every single time we've put on a workshop, incredible people show up. So that's what really ends up making these classes memorable.
