I know this may sound repetitive, but the people who want to bring you down?
It doesn’t matter.
I’ve spent a lot of time trying to understand why negativity affected me the way it did. People would tell me to ignore it, not give it attention, not let it get to me.
The truth is, when something surrounds you long enough, it becomes normal. You stop noticing how much space it’s taking up.
Words have power. Influence. They shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us.
Working through that has taken me a long time.
But something has changed.
I can feel it now whenever I hold onto frustration, resentment, or judgment, even for a moment. It feels foreign. Heavy. Out of place.
It’s no longer something I want to carry.
The weight of other people’s opinions. The weight of proving myself. The weight of fighting battles that don’t belong to me.
I’ve put it down.
What remains is peace.
What remains is love.
And while I know that might sound strange to some people, to me it feels like I’ve finally stepped through a door that I’ve been trying to find for years.
All that’s left now is creation. 💕

FARM SHARE NIAGARA
Most people buy food one week at a time without realizing how much that habit costs them. Last-minute grocery runs, higher prices, lower quality, and produce that was picked long before it reached the shelf. Our 12 Week Farm Share is a different way to feed your household. Each week you receive a fresh selection of local produce, sourced with intention and built around what’s in season now. Better flavour, better freshness,
and a direct connection to the farms growing your food.
But this is bigger than a box of produce. It’s choosing a healthier routine, supporting local growers, and bringing real food back into your home consistently. It helps you plan meals, eat more fruits and vegetables, and reduce those random expensive grocery trips. For 12 weeks, your kitchen stays stocked with food that matters, while your dollars stay in the local economy. If you’ve been wanting to eat better and live more
intentionally, this is one of the simplest ways to start.

Ticks are bad this year, mosquitoes are showing up, and many people are looking for alternatives to chemical sprays.
Neem oil has been used for centuries as a natural way to deter a wide range of insects. It’s derived from the neem tree and is popular with gardeners, homesteaders, pet owners, and people who spend a lot of time outdoors.
Whether you’re gardening, walking the dog, hiking a trail, or simply enjoying time in your backyard, a little prevention can go a long way when it comes to avoiding unwanted pests.
If you’re spending more time outdoors this season, now is a good time to make sure you’re prepared. Prevention is always easier than dealing with ticks after they’ve already found you.

Come shop our market at 13145 Lundy’s Lane. We’ve got great sales today as we rotate product out to make way for more product on it's way in!
Some items are seconds, some are fresher than you’ll find in the grocery store — but all of it is real food. We're doing all we can to make food not only accessible, but affordable.
Our meat, milk, eggs, chips, wraps, and specialty items are all locally sourced and carefully selected.

There’s only so much local meat to go around. And more people are waking up to that. Small farms aren’t built for mass production. When it’s gone, it’s gone until the next round. We’re not saying rush… but we are saying think ahead. Buying in bulk just makes sense. Better pricing. Better planning. Less reliance on whatever’s left.
|
Bulk ground beef is back in stock… but if history tells us anything, it probably won’t be for long.
One of the things people are starting to realize is just how few local farmers are actually left. Not farmers with a few animals on the side. Farmers producing enough food to feed communities consistently, year after year. The demand for local meat is growing, and honestly, that’s a good thing. More people are understanding the value of knowing where their food comes from and having access to
producers they trust.
The challenge is that production doesn’t double overnight. Animals take time to raise. Infrastructure takes time to build. Farmers take years to develop. We’re doing everything we can to grow alongside the community and keep food available, but there are times when demand moves faster than supply.
For now, our bulk ground beef pricing is back. If inventory starts getting tight again, we’ll likely have to pull the bulk pricing down until supply catches up. If stocking your freezer has been on your mind, now is probably the time.
We’re incredibly grateful for the support. What we’re seeing isn’t just people buying food. It’s a community beginning to understand how important local food systems really are.

Most conventional sausages and processed meats contain added nitrates and nitrites as preservatives. More and more families are trying to reduce those ingredients where they can — especially when it comes to food they eat regularly.
That’s why Comfort Farms’ nitrate free heritage pork sausages have become such a favourite around here. Real pork. Real seasoning. No unnecessary fillers or added nitrates. Just honest food raised locally by Bob and Leslie Comfort right here in Niagara.

Fresh produce, thoughtfully sourced and priced to move. We bring in a wide mix of everyday staples and seasonal favourites so you can fill your kitchen with more real food for less, all in one stop.
|
Our Pick & Pack line was built for real life. Fresh fruit and vegetables at prices that actually make sense — because we work hard to move food, reduce waste, and keep good food accessible for more families.
How does it work? You grab a red 1/2 bushel basket, walk the section, and fill it with what your household will actually eat. No subscriptions. No pressure. Just affordable, fresh food in a way that feels simple again. Some weeks it’s farm fresh, some weeks it’s rescue food, some weeks it’s both — but the goal is always the same: keep good food moving through the community instead of watching it get
priced out or thrown away.

We’ve been going through so many produce vouchers lately, and honestly, it’s showing us just how many people are quietly struggling right now.
Healthy food shouldn’t feel out of reach. Families, seniors, single parents, and people working full-time jobs are still finding themselves needing a little extra help just to get real food on the table.
If you’ve ever added a voucher to the wall, donated toward fresh produce, or helped someone access healthy food through Small Scale Farms — thank you. It matters more than you probably realize.
And if anyone else would like to contribute to the voucher wall, we could truly use the support right now. People need to eat healthy food.

The full moon is coming, and many people who follow traditional wellness practices use this time for a parasite cleanse.
For generations, it has been believed that parasites become more active around the full moon, which is why herbs such as wormwood, black walnut, and clove are often taken during this period. Many people feel this is the ideal time to support the body’s natural ability to eliminate unwanted organisms and restore balance to the digestive system.
Parasites are more common than most people realize. They can be picked up through food, water, pets, travel, gardening, and everyday contact with the world around us. While our bodies are designed to handle a lot, many people choose to do periodic cleanses as part of their overall wellness routine.
Wormwood has been used for centuries in traditional herbal practices and remains one of the most widely used herbs in parasite cleansing protocols today.
Whether you’re planning a cleanse or simply paying more attention to your health, the full moon is a good reminder that what happens inside our bodies matters just as much as what happens around us.

Looking to try something different? We’re looking for people to help sort our produce. A lot of what comes through here would normally get thrown out. We go through it, save what’s still good, and put it back out into the community at prices people can actually afford. It’s hands-on, it matters, and you see the impact right away. If you’ve been wanting to be part of something real, this is a good place to start.
